Guaranteed vs Non Guaranteed shipping?

Modified on Thu, 12 Jan 2023 at 11:54 AM

To accommodate as many budgets and deadlines as possible we offer two levels of shipping, Guaranteed, and Non-Guaranteed.

Guaranteed

Our shipper of choice for Guaranteed orders is UPS. Orders shipped via UPS are insured for the total dollar value of the order. If your order is damaged in shipment or becomes lost or stolen, you will be entitled to a refund, or we can re-produce the order for you at no additional cost.  Furthermore, if your order arrives past the promised date, and the delay is not due to an act of nature or GOD, we will be able to generally be able to refund the cost of shipping.

Non-Guaranteed

Our shipper for Non Guaranteed orders is the United States Postal Service (USPS). The USPS does not guarantee its delivery SLAs.  So, although they advertise 2-3 day delivery on Priority Mail packages, they won't consider the package late or lost until at least 5 business days have elapsed.  Although the USPS claims that their Priority Mail packages include $50 worth of insurance, we have never been able to collect on this insurance policy.  So, if your package is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged, we will not be able to refund any of your purchase price or shipping.
